Five for Friday 238

Welcome to Friday,

We are full of happy and bursting with links this weekend. Happy birthday, T.S. Eliot! It’s been wonderful to see so many lovely tributes marking the passing of the Notorious RBG. She was a visionary pioneer and led such a remarkable life; the world certainly needs more people who work hard and lead with kindness as she did. I can officially wish you a very happy autumn, too.

Here is what I’ll be reading over the weekend:

The origins of the Modern City.

Exactly why Masterclass is so good, and why their ads are so mesmerizing.

“The Vikings had a lot more genes from Southern and Eastern Europe than we anticipated.”

What a calm and picturesque mountain retreat!

Are there any redeeming qualities to social media?

Currently reading: Supreme Command by Eliot A. Cohen

Have an excellent weekend!
