Five for Friday 214

Welcome to Friday,

We’ve made it through another week, which alone is cause to celebrate. Additionally, this was Holy Week, and as we look toward Sunday and the peace and celebration that Easter brings, I’m sure we can all use the time to reflect on the message of redemption with your loved ones during this time.

This week’s offering is pandemic free. Here is some of what I’ll be reading this weekend:

The hustle of the jewelry business.

Remembering Bill Withers with this 2004 interview.

This look at preserving Depression-era post office murals.

This Atlantic article from 1913 on Emily Dickinson’s poetry.

A commencement address by Bill Waterson, of Calvin and Hobbes fame, from 1990 at Kenyon College.

Currently Reading: The Jungle by Upton Sinclair

Have a safe and blessed Easter weekend!
