Happy Friday!
As summer approaches we are becoming more acquainted with the local produce and wares available here in South Carolina. We’ll be making our first trip to the farmer’s market this holiday weekend. I’m hoping for sweet strawberries and local honey. The husband is more interested in the local butcher’s wares.
Here are the links I’m following this weekend:
This brilliant photo series of a miniaturized Amsterdam. My eyes refuse to believe these weren’t taken of a model city!
Julia Louis-Dreyfous revisits her iconic looks in a delightful conversation with Vogue.
A look at the mountainous trend of American homework. Pair with additional coverage from The Atlantic on why the school-day ends before the work day – good question!
I stumbled across this piece on Texas’ favorite pastry. Is it just me, or does it seem kolaches are popping up everywhere?
Finally, a thought-provoking piece on happiness, as explained by the brilliant Daniel Kahneman.
