I’m Elizabeth J. Peterson.
I write about thinking.
Drawing from philosophy, psychology, and mass media, I examine how ideas shape individuals and societies.
My lifelong interest in psychology and philosophy led to me pursuing the study of both at university. I earned my BA in psychology, then moved into the workforce, always returning to the question of what motivates people to do what they do?
Before my career in writing freelance, I worked in the world of real estate, developing marketing and website copy for a residential developer. My years in real estate helped me develop a personal philosophy and compile psychological tools to succeed. This website is an endeavor to pass along those lessons.
I grew up in west Texas, traveled the United States, and live in west Germany with my husband.
