On the road again.
Since we are on vacation this week, I put together a few interesting podcasts we’ll be streaming while road tripping.
Stuff You Missed in History Class: I’ll go ahead and guarantee you will learn something new from this podcast. From the stories of obscure historical figures to inventors and explorers throughout history. Their episodes span the last four hundred years and all over the globe, and the show is written to follow a specific story. There’s a reason this podcast has been around since 2014.
Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me: NPR’s weekly news quiz is a favorite for strange headlines and funny quips. This is one of the few I do listen to weekly.
More Perfect: Also produced by NPR, this series looks at landmark Supreme Court decisions and how they continue to affect daily life today.
Revisionist History: Best-selling author Malcolm Gladwell looks at often over-looked events or misunderstood facts from history. Every episode is equal parts narratively beautiful and fascinating.
The Ground Up Show: For the business-minded among us, a Q&A style show around entrepreneurship and risk-taking.
Bonus: Last Seen: A true crime series about a Boston art heist, this new podcast will look at why none of the paintings have been recovered. I’m very excited about a crime podcast that isn’t about murder. It launches later this month.
Have a wonderful weekend and let me know on Twitter what podcasts you’re loving!
