With Valentine’s Day coming up: Do lab-grown diamonds solve the moral issue of sustainability? After diving into this summary on De Beers diamonds, I read this NYT article recently about Tiffany’s answer to De Beer’s entrance into the lab-grown market. Does this mark a change in the diamond industry or are these companies merely getting those dang millennial dollars however they can? Maybe both? I suppose time will tell.
